In the summertime when the weather is high …
I haven’t got “only women on my mind”, and “I don’t have a drink and drive”! But thx anyway Mungo Jerry for this great song.
At mileage 56.186 km this is the time to mount the summer tyres – still running on the Goodyear GT3 which came with the car. Got this fixed today and hopefully I will notice the ususal, small improvement in fuel consumption. Don’t know if this is only due to the tyres, I once read something about that cold air during winter has a higher density and thus higher resistance = more fuel burning. Does anyone know if this is really true?
Recently I see an annoying error “sidelamp faulty”, which actually was something I wrote about in another post on a few minor problems. The last time, a bulb actually failed within a couple of days; I think that maybe the eletric resistance in the bulb changes just before the bulb burns out completely; I am eager to see if this is going to happen in a few days. Right now, all lamps and bulbs seem to be OK despite the error display. The error comes on with the ignition, almost consistently every time, but have had a few starts without the error. Hmm typical Peugeot stuff, or… ? (Looks like someone is having a 407 showing similar problem).
